Students will test energy-related tech in a multitude of real-world scenarios, with participation from major energy providers who can take their product to the next level.

As climate change increases demands for air conditioning, water shortages increase demand for desalination, and a rising global middle class demands access to goods and automotive transport, global energy demands are projected to surge by 47% by the year 2050.

Current energy production, primarily supplied by fossil fuels, accounts for over 30% of total greenhouse gas emissions, and costs are rising as global conflicts roil.

Our energy domain aims to use the energy we currently produce more efficiently by taking advantage of renewable energy supplies, advanced building technologies, new advancements in smart monitoring technology, and other areas of innovation.
