Spyridon (Spiro) Marinopoulos, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.P. is a General Internist, Director of the University Health Center, and Chief Medical Officer of UMD. He holds B.A., M.B.A. and M.D. degrees, and a graduate certificate in Health Administration and Policy, from the University of Chicago. Prior to UMD, he served at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) - as full time medical school faculty, attending physician at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Director of University Health Services. Dr. Marinopoulos holds adjunct faculty appointments in Health Policy and Management at UMD, and in General Internal Medicine at JHU.
