Alena is a Studio Art major specializing in Graphic Design and pursuing a minor in Digital Storytelling. She is currently a graphic design intern at xFoundry.

Alena has been doing graphic design since high school, where she was a part of a Graphic Communications program. This is where she developed a liking towards design and decided to further pursue it in her education. Since she was a child, Alena's always had an obsession with storytelling, whether it come in a literary or visual form, and seeks to use design to tell visually engaging stories. This is on top of a love for photography which started in middle school. She was able to build upon this foundation by studying photography in Rome for a month this past summer.

Outside of school, you'll find Alena with her head in a book or scrolling through Pinterest for visual inspiration. In the future, she hopes to pursue graphic design as a full-time career while furthering her personal artistic development on the side.
