Lea is a journalism and cinema/media studies double major at the University of Maryland. In her freshman year, she began writing for the school newspaper, The Diamondback’s sports section, covering the UMD gymnastics team for two seasons and UMD’s women’s soccer team for one season. Lea furthered her passions for videography and began working for the video desk her junior year, covering sports and campus events.

In the future, Lea hopes to pursue a career in film and television, and continue working in videography. She enjoys attending concerts of any genre and watching movies in her free time, especially anything in the realm of science fiction. Born and raised in Maryland, you can probably catch Lea at a Ravens or Capitals game.
