We believe food connects people from all backgrounds and disciplines. Our incubator utilizes this universal language to create a lasting impact on our community. We invite UMD community startups passionate about food service and technology to join our tasteful dual accelerator program.
Our incubator transforms UMD into a community hub for food tech innovation through collaborations, real-world applications and unparalleled opportunities for students. Students play a valuable role in DeliXious Labs by providing feedback. Students will also have access to exclusive internship opportunities and work hands-on with startups, participating in growing fresh ingredients on campus and contributing to engineering, business and marketing efforts.
With the University of Maryland’s award-winning Dining Services team by your side, your startup can create mouth-watering recipes—bringing them to life and serving them on our campus—and craft efficient restaurant operation plans—covering the essentials: management, permitting and food preparation. Dining Services has you covered and will bring your vision to life in the IDEA Central café.
